Mini Digger Operator

Position Summary

We are looking for a friendly and outgoing individual to be a mini digger operator. A mini digger is a stand-alone scale excavator that welcomes all ages to dig through sand for treasure.

A mini digger operator mainly assists guests loading and unloading guests onto the mini diggers, ensuring safety throughout the mini digger experience, enjoys working with the public and is comfortable with public speaking. Most shifts are 6-8 hours. This position is during our Pumpkin Patch of September – October with paid training prior.

Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour
Eligible for “Bonus Pay”: $2 per Hour

Core Job Responsibilities

Interact with park visitors in a friendly manner.
Load and unload customers safely.
Supervise several mini diggers simultaneously.
Provide clear instructions on how to operate the mini diggers safely.
Clean & basic maintenance of the mini digger area.
Take tickets and work with the public.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be able to work throughout the entire event of September 16 – October 31.
Must be available to complete standard training beginning August.
Work on your feet for 6-8 hour shifts.
Must be able to get to and from work.
