4th Grade History Education Program
Position Summary
Irvine Park Railroad is hiring actors for our 4th grade history education program.
(Section 4.3 & 4.4) These actors must be able to memorize a 15 minute script for
1 or more of our 7 stations that teach students about California history.
You must be outgoing and able to positively engage with students and teachers. (wage range: $20-$26)
- Starting wage: $20.00 per hour
- January 16th – February 23rd and April 8th – May 17th, 2024
- Up 20 hours per week
- Monday – Friday, 9am – 1pm (Minimum 2-3 days)
Core Job Responsibilities
- Memorizing scripts for specific stations
- Interacting with students and teachers
- Making field trips fun and engaging
Requirements
- Must be able to commit scripts to memory
- Must be comfortable with public speaking
- Must have a positive attitude and willing to work
- Must wear a costume provided by Irvine Park Railroad
- Must be able to get to and from work
