If tickets sell out online... purchase tickets in person!
If tickets to ride the Christmas Train sell out online, tickets will still be available for purchase in person at the train station. Tickets may be purchased in person on the day that you would like to ride the train. The ticket window opens at 10:00 am; a limited number of tickets are available each hour. Visitors will be able to ride the train that night, however, we cannot guarantee that visitors can ride the train at a specific time. Please click here to read our Christmas Train FAQs.
Online ticket service fee.
There is a one-time, online ticket fee of $7.50 per order charged when tickets are purchased online.
During past holiday seasons, visitors expressed their desire to purchase Christmas Train tickets online to guarantee that they would be able to ride the train on a specific date and at a specific time. We listened and visitors can purchase tickets online. The tickets can be purchased for a specific hour. Visitors are guaranteed to board the train within that hour. There are additional costs to Irvine Park Railroad to sell tickets online and these costs are included in the one-time online ticket fee.
As an option to buying tickets online, tickets may be purchased in person at the train station on that day that you would like to ride the train. If you purchase tickets in person at the train station, we can guarantee that you will ride the train that night, however, we cannot guarantee that you can ride the train at a specific time.
Refund Policy: Irvine Park Railroad does not offer refunds for Christmas Train tickets purchased online. If you are not able to ride the Christmas Train on the date for which you purchased tickets, or if the Christmas Train closes due to rain, please contact us on that day to exchange your tickets for a different day and time. If the Christmas Train closes due to rain, notification will be made on our web site home page and on the top of this page; notification will also be posted on our Facebook fan page. We will also notify you via the email address used to purchase your tickets online. Note: You may get in line and board the train at any time during the hour for which you purchase tickets.
