May I purchase Christmas Train tickets online?

Yes.

Christmas Train tickets can be purchased online beginning Tuesday, November 1st. 

NOTE: There is a one-time online ticket purchase service charge of $7.50 per order.


If Christmas Train tickets are sold out online, may I purchase tickets in person?

Yes.

If Christmas Train tickets are sold out online, you may purchase tickets in person at the train station on the day that you would like to ride the train. You will be able to ride the train that night, however, we cannot guarantee that you can ride the train at a specific time.


Why is there a cost to purchase tickets online?

During past holiday seasons, visitors expressed their desire to purchase Christmas Train tickets online to guarantee that they would be able to ride the train on a specific date and at a specific time without having to wait in an excessive line. We listened and visitors can purchase tickets online. The one-time $7.50 online ticket fee (per order) is to cover the cost to sell tickets online. As an option to buying tickets online, tickets may be purchased in person at the train station on the day that you would like to ride the train. You will be able ride the train that night, however,  we cannot guarantee that you can ride the train at a specific time.


May I purchase Christmas Train tickets by phone?

No.

At this time, Irvine Park Railroad is not offering Christmas Train tickets available for purchase by phone.


May I purchase Christmas Train tickets in person?

Christmas Train tickets may be purchased in person on the day that you will be riding the Christmas Train. Tickets may not be purchased (in person) in advance of the day that you will be riding the Christmas Train.


What credit cards do you accept?

Irvine Park Railroad accepts MasterCard®, Visa and Discover® Card as methods of payment for tickets purchased at the train station.

May I buy Christmas Train tickets to ride the train at a specific time?

Yes.

If you purchase Christmas Train tickets in person or online, you may purchase tickets to ride the train during a specific time period.

The train departs from the train station every 15 minutes. Boarding passes will allow you to board the train any time during the hour for which you purchased tickets. You may get in line when it is your designated time to ride the train.

Tickets will be held at Will Call for you to pick up after 2:00 pm on the day that you will be riding the Christmas Train.


How much does it cost to ride the Christmas Train?

Christmas Train tickets are $10.00 per person.

Children age 24 months and younger are free.


I previously purchased a book of train tickets; may I use these tickets to ride the Christmas Train?

No.

Regular train tickets, tokens, complimentary tickets, discount tickets, and/or coupons are not valid for the Christmas Train.

Please Note: Regular tickets may be used for the Christmas Train activities including the bounce house, Christmas cookie decorating and carnival games located inside Santa’s Village.


What is the cost for photos with Santa Claus?

The cost to have a picture taken with Santa Claus is $10.00 per photo. Each additional photo is $6.00.

Irvine Park Railroad accepts cash, MasterCard®, Visa and Discover® as methods of payment for photos with Santa Claus.


May I use my own camera for photos with Santa Claus?

Yes, you may use your personal camera to take photos with Santa Claus. There is no additional cost for using your own camera.


How much are parking fees?

Parking costs $3.00 on weekdays and $5.00 on weekends. These fees are controlled by the County of Orange.

Parking is FREE after 5:00 pm.


What is your refund policy?

Refund Policy:  Irvine Park Railroad does not offer refunds for Christmas Train tickets purchased online. If you are not able to ride the Christmas Train on the date for which you purchased tickets, or if the Christmas Train closes due to rain, please contact us on that day to exchange your tickets for a different day and time. If the Christmas Train closes due to rain, notification will be made on our Web site home page and on the top of this page; notification will also be posted on our Facebook fan page. We will also notify you via the email address used to purchase your tickets online.
